Do you ever get those moments when your motivation level suddenly rises up and you're filled with determination to get things done? Well, that's definitely how I felt when I got up this morning! With my food scale, I was going to track every single thing I put into my body so that I'd know exactly how many calories, grams of protein, fat, and carbs I was consuming.
Today was my rest day, so no gym. I did, however, find some great articles on the web that are worth sharing; check these out!

Later on in the evening, I went over to my castmate's apartment to work on some music, and got the chance to use his kitchen! I cooked sweet potatoes, made some Quest bar cookies, scrambled some egg whites, and made some quinoa in the rice cooker. It felt good to cook again :) Using the scale to premeasure everything helped as well, and it getting me more in check with portion sizes.
No protein shake again.....instead, I'm going to share what I've been eating for breakfast for the past week!
