We all love it. But did you know how important music is during your workouts?
Studies have found that music makes you push yourself harder and distracts you from the pain of your workout!
I'm sure 99.99% of you listen to music of some sort during your workout (unless you're my dad, who prefers some AM radio to keep him going) I spent a lot of time working on my gym playlist because music makes all the difference for my workouts. If I forget my headphones or if my Spotify isn't working, I get a weee bit angry ;)
So today I'm sharing my playlist, and how you too can create your ultimate gym playlist so that you can have awesome workouts! But first things first....
You have to find your power song.
power song (n.) - a song that automatically give you energy, motivation, and focus no matter how many times you've heard it before.
It's good to listen to your power song either first thing (when you're warming up for example) to get you in the right mood/mindset for your workout or in the middle when you need that push!
Mine is "Let's Go" by Calvin Harris. No matter how many times I listen to this song, the lyrics and beat give me an amazing energy and happiness. I mean, just read the lyrics..how can that not get you motivated?!

Some other popular choices for power songs are "Stronger" by Kanye West and "Remember the Name" by Fort Minor. It's whatever gets you the most motivated, upbeat, awesomest version of you, so be picky!
