If you were like me and had the day off, you'd probably agree that it was nice to have a three day weekend! I was lucky enough to have my boyfriend come up so we could spend time together. Long distance relationships definitely take some effort, but can be done :)

Yesterday I did a Chest/Tri's workout that left me pretty sore as I was walking out of the gym. Burned about 130 cal in thirty minutes, so not too bad! Sunday is usually my rest day, but since the gym is closed today, I switched it to Monday's workout, so today has been my rest day!
But just because it's rest day doesn't mean I don't get to enjoy a protein shake...
And today I made an especially yummy one! This shake comes from the lovely Dashing Dish and is one of my favorites...
Egg Nog Milkshake!!
(mine didn't look this good, but it sure did taste that good)
I love making this shake when I'm craving that fatty, high calorie Christmas drink. Even though some people would say its "too early for Christmas", my taste buds ignored the calender and requested this holiday favorite.
Egg Nog Milkshake
- 1/2 c unsweetned vanilla almond milk or water
- 1/2 c cottage cheese
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 tsp rum exteract
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- desired amount of stevia
- 3-4 ice cubes
Blend and enjoy!
