Time Flies

Ohmylordygoodnessgoshgolly.

It's been a very long time since I last blogged. I don't even know if I'd call this blog by the same name anymore - so much has happened over the past year and a half. I'm different, my body is different, my mindset is different. Where to begin?

I'm now at San Diego State studying Foods and Nutrition.

After 3 rounds of birth control, my period has returned.

I no longer count calories, track what I eat, or follow IIFYM.

I've gained more weight - I'm now the most I've ever weighed in my life.

I'm also the happiest I've been in a while. Of course my weight bothers me, but at the same time having my period, which was a source of stress and sadness and anger, makes a lot of it up.

I'm now at the point were I need to find balance - with food, exercise, health. My new career path.

As I was going through my old musical theater material, I realized that I had SO MUCH PASSION. To be better, to always be growing. I also realized that its time to transfer that much passion to my new life, my new craft.

One of the projects I'm working on is a scholarship with Sarah Wilson - I will be doing her I Quit Sugar 8 Week Program, while tracking my progress and struggles in relation to my thyroid. I'm very blessed to be able to do the program for free, but I'm nervous for the struggles I'm going to face.
I've always been a sugar addict.
