Back in Action

Ohmylordygoodnessgoshgolly. Sorry for going away for a little while! It gets tough to remember to do the little things when bigger things become major priorities in life. I had to take care of a lot of assignments for school, and kept forgetting to update my little blog. (which apparently people are reading..wha??? Seriously though, thank you for taking the time. I appreciate it.)

SO. Back to way things were! Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! Mine was certainly eventful, but I sure enjoyed pigging out on turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, and my new favorite ice cream!

Halo Top is only 70 calories per 1/2 cup and has 7 g of protein and only 4 g of sugar! So you could technically eat the whole pint and not feel guilty :D Their Lemon Cake flavor is quite amazing. You can find them at Sprouts or other health food stores.

Discovered when I came home and stepped on the scale that I had lost three pounds over the course of three weeks! SCORE! But...my body fat % went up a bit, meaning I lost a bit of muscle. So it's back to the drawing board I go to try to find a way to lose fat without sacrificing the muscle I've gained over this year.

HEALTHY TIP: If you're not already taking a fish oil pill because you're like me and can't stand to swallow a horse pill and risk choking and dying (ok, maybe that is just me) check out what I found at the supermarket!

All you have to do is take two little pills per day to get your benefits. It's only been three days, and I've noticed I fall asleep faster and my skin is FINALLY clearing up! Fish oil, like a multivitamin, is one of those supplements that everyone should be taking. We just don't get enough Omega 3s into our diet!
